NETS on K7LED Repeater
Several nets are held on the Club 2 Meter repeater.
- The Puget Sound Traffic Net makes use of the Club 2 Meter repeater.
- The traffic net meets at 5:30 PM daily.
- The Traffic Net handles messages that may be transmitted locally, across
the nation or internationally.
It is an alternate to telephone, telegraph, or internet.
Handling normal daily traffic messages is practice for emergencies
when normal telephone, telegraph, or internet are non-operational.
- A Public Service Information Net at 7:00 PM Thursdays.
- A monthly Net is held at about 9:15 AM the third Saturday.
- All Hams, members or not, are encouraged to join in.
- It also provides "talk-in" to the club meeting.
- It is an informal Net (no traffic is passed) to exchange news about Club
activities, Club members, and to announce upcoming activities.
- Up to two items may be listed for sale or trade during the Net.
Users of the repeater are encouraged to free up the frequency for the short
times these Nets are conducted.
